Does Moving Stars support both systems?
Yes. Choose your astrology system when creating a chart or in the chart settings. The app uses that setting when calculating the chart, so the displayed placements belong to the selected system.
Why might my signs change?
Tropical and sidereal zodiacs use different reference points. Tropical astrology anchors the zodiac to the seasons; sidereal astrology applies an offset called an ayanamsha. The same birth details can therefore produce different sign placements.
Is sidereal the same as a different house system?
No. The zodiac system and house system describe different parts of a chart. When comparing results, check the zodiac settings as well as your birth date, time, and location.
Which should I choose?
Start with the tradition you want to learn. Moving Stars lets you explore both without treating one label as the whole of who you are. Keep the chosen system in mind when reading interpretations or comparing your chart with another source.
