A NOTE FROM SUMMER
Hi, I’m Summer.
I’m the creator of Moving Stars, and there’s a pretty personal reason I’m building all of this.
When I was 27, a friend introduced me to my Saturn return during one of the darkest periods of my life. I didn’t need astrology to tell me exactly what was going to happen. I needed something that reminded me I wasn’t going to feel that way forever.
Astrology gave me that. It helped me imagine what came next.
That feeling has stayed with me.
You can start wherever you want.
When I first started learning astrology, I was so intimidated. There was so much to learn, and apparently an entire birth chart happening beyond the one sign I knew.
I was terrible in school. But I’ve always loved learning when I could do it in my own time, in my own way. Astrology gave me a chance to study something I really loved without feeling like I had to keep up.
That’s a big part of Moving Stars. You don’t need to know how to read a birth chart to begin. You can click around, ask questions, and spend time with whatever interests you. There’s no specific place you’re supposed to start.
And what I love is that you can keep coming back to the same birth chart your entire life and discover something new. You’ve lived more. You’re looking through a different lens. Suddenly, something you barely noticed before means a whole lot.
And yes, I care about the colors.
Back in my MySpace days, I loved getting into the code and making my page feel like me. The colors, the music, all the weird little details. Eventually, other people started asking me to make theirs, too.
So this feels a little like coming full circle. I’m still at a computer, rearranging things and trying another color because something doesn’t quite feel right yet.
Maybe it’s my Venus in Libra. I do want it to work beautifully. I also want it to be beautiful. Both things can be true.
I’m hands-on with the building, the design, and the conversations with the people using Moving Stars. What you share with me helps shape what comes next.
There’s a person here, paying attention. Usually with quite a few tabs open.
I hope you find something here that makes you curious, helps something click, or gives you a little room to imagine what comes next, too.
Thank you for being here. It means so much to me.
With so much love,

Your story is still moving.
